”A book is a garden, an orchard, a storehouse, a party, a company by the way, a counselor, a multitude of counselors.”
Charles Baudelaire

I wasn’t into books as a kid—until one day my mom came home with a gift. It was a children’s book about the journey of a cat, in Serbo-Croatian, and it did the trick. From that moment, I fell in love with books and cats (I had always claimed to be only a dog lover before). As I got older, I moved from books about cats and dogs to authors like Enid Blyton, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Dostoyevsky, Márquez, Kafka, and many more. Books have been an important part of my life for a long time, and now I’ve started this blog to share that passion with like-minded readers.
